Our unique design is extremely versatile allowing the angler to change lead sizes quickly and offer maximum control of lead discharge.

* Unique ultra compact design ensures the most subtle Size 8 Swivel safety lead arrangment possible.

* The ribbed lead retaining arm and smooth barrel allow you to precisely fine tune how easily the lead is ejected from the clip. Tests have shown that lead clips with serrated barrels sometimes fail to release the lead when needed because the ribbed barrel actually grips too much.

* Extra tough - strong enough to handle leads up to 6oz.

* Low-viz camo colours available in C-Thru Green & Brown to match the rest of the Covert range.

Gardner Tackle Covert Tail Rubbers

Covert Tail Rubbers are the recommended component to use in conjunction with Covert Lead Clips. The design of these tail rubbers has been improved and they now offer significantly greater control of lead retention/ejection when used in conjunction with our Lead Clips.

• Covert Tail Rubbers are based on a tapered design with a smooth finish and rounded edges to reduce the incidence of tangles during the cast or retrieve.
• The flexible rubber compound provides the optimum balance of rigidity and flexibility making them supremely versatile for use with Lead Clips and inline lead arrangements.
• Low-viz camo colours available in Solid or C-Thru Green & Brown to match the rest of the Covert range.
